Thank You to All Our First Responders
Do you know a first responder who's in need of a new heating & cooling system or water heater for their home? Maybe their air conditioner broke down at the end of last summer or their water heater is 15+ years old....let Reliable install a complete new heating and cooling system or 40 gallon tank water heater for them! Starting in May 2020, and with the help of our wonderful partners Goodman and Southern Pipe, Reliable will be giving away brand new equipment each month to worthy first responders in the area. That's 8 new heating & cooling systems and 8 new water heaters.
We understand that there are a LOT of first responders out there who have helped all of us get through this. We want to help the HEROES by giving a 100% FREE AC System or Water Heater, but we need YOU to help us find the heroes in need. Do you know a first responder who needs us? This relief offer applies to the grocery store team members, postal delivery workers, food delivery workers, teachers, front line technicians, EMTs, nurses, doctors, police and fire fighters… you name it!
Nominate them by filling out the form below. We will be selecting 2 new first responders at the end of each month for the remainder of the year.

August First Responder Winners
HVAC Winner - Carnell Roberts
Nominated by: Mallory Austin (Friend)
Carnell is a speech language pathologist at Atlanta Medical Center who has been instrumental during the pandemic. As a speech language pathologist, he works with COVID patients who have been on ventilators and have lost their ability to speak and/or eat. Carnell assists in rehabilitating these patients, so they are able to eat and speak to their loved ones. He also spends much of his day doing COVID swabs for the entire hospital and has volunteered to arrive at work at 6:00 am to take employees' and visitors' temperatures before they enter the hospital. Carnell and his husband (just married in February) purchased a home two and a half years ago, and one of their HVAC systems is over 25 years old. They had the system inspected last fall and were told that the heat shield is cracked and that the system may not be safe to use, but they are saving to have their first child and do not want to delay building their family by spending the money on a new system.

September First Responder Winners
HVAC Winner - Darbe Mangrum
Darbe is a 27 year old emergency room nurse at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. She has worked for them for the past 5 years and typically works 3-4 12 hour shifts per week, which often turn into 14 hour shifts. Throughout the pandemic, she has seen firsthand the difficulties of not having the proper equipment, wearing the same mask multiple times, and parents not being allowed in the hospital when their children are admitted. She has been a rock for so many people through this. Darbe is also a first time home owner in the Marietta area. Her house has an AC/heating unit that is almost 25 years old and more than on its last leg. She typically has many fans running in the house during the summer months because her AC unit can't handle it. She also worries about leaving her dogs home alone while she works sometimes, because the upstairs gets so hot, so she will sometimes board them.
Water Heater Winner - Matt Rice

Matt is Military Veteran and a Detective with the Pickens County Sheriff's Office.
