When should I replace my HVAC system?
Most heating and cooling systems last roughly 10–15 years, but can last longer (and use 20–30% less energy) with regular tune-ups.
As HVAC systems get older and parts become more worn, the unit loses efficiency. When this happens, you’ll start to notice:
- Increasing energy bills
- Your unit getting louder
- More frequent repairs
- Decreasing performance
What brands do you install?
At Reliable Heating & Air, we install only the most reliable air conditioners, furnaces and heat pumps. That’s why we recommend Trane heating and cooling systems to our customers. But we also install leading HVAC brands like Goodman and Mitsubishi.
During your free estimate, your Home Comfort Advisor will give you multiple system options, so you get the best unit for your home.
Will I need to install ductwork?
The answer: It depends.
If your home doesn’t have ductwork and you want to install central air conditioning, you’ll need to have ductwork installed.
If you don’t want to pay the extra cost of installing ductwork, a ductless mini split AC is a great option.
